This rolling ball sculpture is now in: Riverside, Ca.
It stands 5ft tall - 4ft wide - 3ft deep. There are 4 tracks total. All
stainless steel, neatly TIG welded. The marble collector on the upper left
collects 4 marbles before dropping them at the same time, each on it's own
track. One of the track is a loop d' loop track that sends the marble through 2
loops, then goes into the "plinko mixer". Just a little late,r the other three
tracks follow on their own path into the plinko mixer as well, all three balls
usually meeting at the same time. These three marbles can take any of the 4
"slot car" paths leading out of the plink mixer, maybe all different paths,
maybe all the same path. The three marbles then race side by side into the final
large 15" spiral at the bottom. A chain lift returns the marble back to the top
for another trip. It takes one full minute for the marbles to get from the top
to the bottom, which is how long it takes for the next 4 marbles to collect.
