This might be the largest hand-released Rolling Ball Sculpture I’ve built. Each press of the lever releases one or more balls from the queue at the top, and with three tracks there’s plenty to watch. Release just one and follow it all the way down, or let a bunch of them go and watch the whole sculpture come alive.

The fast track is a loop d’ loop with 9 inversions. The other tracks take a longer route, with several large dips, smaller dips, a ball-collecting tipping arm and plenty of curving track along the way.

At the bottom, all three tracks empty into a large spiral. The balls circle around, drop through the center and line themselves back up, ready to be picked up and loaded into the top again.

No motor or electricity on this one—the only power it needs is you and gravity.
