Here’s another great example of a semi-automatic rolling ball sculpture. Load the marbles into the top queue – as many as it will hold – and get ready to watch this piece go all by itself, no motor needed. Release one ball or more and when each one reaches the bottom it presses a handle that releases then next one in line at the top. Only gravity is needed to make it run.

Curvy tracks, tipping arm, horizontal zig-zag, “balls on track”, a loop d’ loop, and the automatic release make up this awesome rolling ball sculpture.
