This is a variation of my usual tetrahedron frame — three legs with a ring at the top. I like using three-legged frames because they’re easy to level and sit solidly on just about any surface.

This one has a chain lift and three tracks, fed by two track splitters. There’s a loop d’ loop, tall coil, ball-collecting tipping arm, flat spiral and plenty of track connecting everything together.

At the bottom, all three tracks merge into a collector plate and return to a single track that feeds the balls back into the chain lift for another trip to the top.

The DC motor has a speed control, so you can run the lift slowly for more relaxed movement or turn it up when you want more balls moving through the sculpture at once.

As always, 100% stainless steel, TIG welded.
