This is the second sculpture in a pair (including #332) that I built for a private collector. They were shipped to Decatur, Atlanta.
This one has 4 tracks with 35mm delrin balls that have been dyed different colors. Half and half colors to show the rotation of the balls as they cruise along the two rail tracks.
I built into the RBS a first for me and likely the RBS community world-wide - a loop d' loop with 39 continuous loops! The ball races through the loops until rolling across the collector tray and up an incline to hit into a row of stationary balls sending one up into a small bell.
There is also a 7 ball collector that releases the balls one by one after the 7th ball has gotten in line. These 7 balls activate the "ferris wheel lift" that raises up small marbles which roll on their own personal track.
