This fabulous tabletop is one of two I built that were not commissions. The projects that aren't commissions just have a different feel to them while I'm building as I only have to make it so that I like it, instead of trying to guess what a buyer wants. Especially if they don't give me any feedback on what they like.

I have named these two pieces "Free Play one" and "Free Play two" as they were back to back builds on my welding table. 

I started with the frame, added the lift, built in the track splitters. This gave me my starting foundation to start the rest of the piece. First in was the vertical zig-zag, then the loop d' loops, then the two large spinners, followed up by the last track that fills in all of the open spaces with tipping arms, wavy track and other fun elements.
