Double Dash is a two-track rolling ball sculpture finished in gloss black powder coating. The dark frame and tracks create a great contrast with the moving glass marbles and give the sculpture a clean, simple look.

An elegant helical lift carries the marbles quietly to the top, where they enter a tipping arm. The arm collects two marbles and then releases them side by side onto two separate tracks—and they're off.

From there, the pair takes completely different routes. The two tracks wind, twist and curve independently toward the bottom, giving you two marbles to follow at once. Eventually the paths come back together, merging into a single track just before the marbles enter the lift and begin another trip.

This is an especially quiet and relaxing rolling ball sculpture. There are no loud mechanisms or bells—just the gentle movement of the marbles and the slow, continuous action of the helical lift. The lift speed is adjustable, so you can slow everything down for a calm, easy pace or turn it up when you want a little more action.
